Bill: Weapons Of Mass Destruction Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Beluzian Bolshevik Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2339
Description[?]:
If we were to allow the development of nuclear, biological and chemical weapons, we would gain a crucial tool. While militarily, their use might be limited, maybe even more harm than good, but if we allow these weapons to be used for any reason, they can give us great diplomatic leverage. If we can use the Madman theory, that is the appearance that we could use such weapons for any such reasons, using it as inappropriate force in a conflict, we could discourage diplomatic or military retaliation or stifle enemy imperialism. It is a crucial diplomatic tool. |
