Bill: Ma'avak "Shalom In Our Time" Agenda [Part 5]

Details

Submitted by[?]: Ma'avak

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2340

Description[?]:

"With the success of the first four parts of the agenda and the continued progress being made in Atyr we propose to continue our liberalisation of the Homeland.

First we need to alter our child labour policy. The current law means that if anyone under 24 wishes to get a job, even if it is just a paper round they are unable to do so. Seeing as education is only compulsory up to age 21 this means that between 21 and 24 someone may leave school but may not make a job. This is pure madness so we propose altering all three laws. Child labour will be legalised but with additional regulation to ensure safety and both age brackets will be brought down to 18. After 18 someone may leave school but they will have to be regulated by adult labour laws only."

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
