Whereas, pollution is what is known as an "externality," a cost to society that businesses do not have to pay for and even believers in the free market in general cannot logically support the right to freely pollute, and Whereas, current law makes enforcement of pollution standards impossible, We hereby propose that moderate pollution standards, that are enforced, be reinstated. |
