We propose that we allow people to use naturally-occuring substances, while reserving the right to restrict more harmful forms of those substances, such as crack. The Drug War only causes massive loss of civil liberty and increased crime. We must end it now. |

Message | The bill sounds good in theory, but why restrict "more harmful versions" or non-naturally-occuring substances? While I agree that not everyone should be able to have a meth lab in their garage, why should we restrict their use? |
Date | 16:05:20, July 14, 2005 CET | From | Maroon Party | To | Debating the Recreational Drug Legalization |
Message | Some regulation helps protect our citizens from fraud and bad drugs. I agree that we should move to decriminallizing all drugs eventually, but we don't see why we have to take such a drastic step so soon. Let's do the natural drugs first and see the effect of that. |
Date | 02:26:06, July 15, 2005 CET | From | Dorvik-Nazz Party | To | Debating the Recreational Drug Legalization |
Message | We do not think that all drugs should be decriminalized, but if decriminalization were the case, that only naturally occuring drugs should be as such. Because our party is under new leadership, and the newly appointed Grand Nazz has stated that he will move the party more towards the center, we will vote yes for this bill. But nothing more. |
Date | 21:06:48, July 15, 2005 CET | From | Free Citizens Alliance | To | Debating the Recreational Drug Legalization |
Message | The Free Citizens Alliance does not believe that it is this government's responsibility to regulate what the people of this nation put into their own bodies. As long as what they are doing does not infringe upon the freedoms of another citizen, the FCA will wholeheartedly support this bill. |
