Voting deadline: July 2081
Description[?]:
This proposal prevents any branch of the armed forces from recruiting in our nations high schools. This ensures the that student will not feel pressured into joining the armed forces and they will be free to choose after graduation. The main reasons for this proposal are that lower income and minorities students will be targeted at a greater rate by military recruiters than their better off, non -minority counterparts. |

From | Liberal-Progressive Union | To | Debating the Armed Service Recruitment Act. | Message | Even though we have no military system in place yet, I think this is a good start to prevent an unfair proportion a of lower class, and overwhelmingly minority military. What are your thoughts and recommendations on this. |

From | Liberal-Progressive Union | To | Debating the Armed Service Recruitment Act. | Message | Military recruiting is going into highschools and showing students the great life that the military has to offer. Recruiters attempt to entice students who are borderline about going to college that the military is their best option. They pretty much show all of the glamour without telling the prospective student any of the negatives of the military. As most recruiters have a quota to fill (say 3 new recruites per month to sign up) they will say almost anything to get that person to enlist. |

From | United Blobs | To | Debating the Armed Service Recruitment Act. | Message | We will accpet this as long it does not stop the military informing students fully about military careers in the same way other fields of work would be allowed to. |
