For too long, our poor fish and other marine wildlife have lived on the verge of extinction. The Centre Party proposes this measure to protect these species from becoming extinct and seeks support on this issue. |

Message | If the govt sets production levels it can take care not to do too much damage to the fish populations. The PSF will not be willing to support a bill that would deny the Telamon people their supply of fish - we would be willing to cut production levels and even ration fish whose populations are diminishing. But we cannot support banning fishing outright. It's just a shame converting to fish farms isn't an option as we would support that. |
