Bill: Military Reforms
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2345
Description[?]:
It is a proven fact that don't ask, don't tell policies cost the military more in the long run, it is much easier to institute a blanket ban on all homosexuals within the military. We should not be wasting hundreds of thousands of dollars on this program nor should we risk destroying unit cohesion by allowing homosexuals within the ranks. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Military stance on homosexuality.
Old value:: Open homosexuality is not tolerated in the military. The military has a "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
Current: Homosexuality is allowed in the military.
Proposed: Homosexuality is not tolerated in the military. The military actively seeks to remove homosexuals from it.

Message | Sodomites do nothing but weaken the Military. To not support this, is to not support a strong Military. |

Message | The passing of this Act will see a number of our most competent, top generals losing their jobs and being replaced with less experienced and less competent underlings. |

Message | To suggest our top generals are a bunch of queer boys is an insult to His Majesty's army! |

Message | The military needs all the soldiers it can get. |

Message | This kind of comment could only come from someone with no military experience. I'm sorry CJP but it could. This is why every successful western army SELECTS recruits, eliminating the dross along the way and in order to maintain standards discharges soldiers who prove to be unfit for duty in any way (drugs taking, unfit, homosexual, criminal, insubordinate, etc, etc). |

Message | But why do you assume homosexuals would naturally be bad fighters? If there's evidence I'll accept it. |

Message | Evidence? It's common sense that fairies and queens aren't man enough to be soldiers - plus the way they camp it up is simply incompatible with military discipline and bearing. Think about it! Plus there's the minor fact that these perverts reject God's laws and thus cannot be trusted to be loyal to His Empire. |

Message | By using such language you simply highlight that your argument is already lost. God forgive you for your sins. |
