Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

If the Republican or Democratic Party USA tried to form a co-alition with, say, the Nazi or Communist Party (Who nobody voted for, and who's help would be useless), people would get pretty pissed. If you say you're for Democracy and elections, you probably shouldn't appoint the unelected. Supporters would be somewhat upset. You see what I mean? In Character: Huey Z. Newton, spokesman for the National Action Coalition: "The O.R.P. once again discredits itself with it's idiotic chicanery. It claims to represent the will of the people, to support electoral democracy, and yet it appoints those who the people did not vote for into power. The "Red Puma Party" did not receive on seat in the National Congress, has in fact existed for less then a year, and yet the O.R.P. draws from it's ranks those who will run our government! And the RPP, who makes the same claims, accepts! This shall leave a bitter taste in the mouth of the nation. The National Action Coalition shall not support any cabinet which does not have a National Action member for the posistion of Head of Government and National Action ministers for the Ministries of Food and Agriculture, Trade and Industry, Internal Affairs, Defence and Justice. That's what's up." |
