Bill: Withdrawal from Uwakah
Details
Submitted by[?]: Dorvish Popular Front
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2346
Description[?]:
There is no need for Dorvish troops to remain in Kirlawa. Dorvish-Uwakah is reunited with the Free Union of Kirlawa, and so the region is stable and secure. This bill will remove all our troops and military installation from Kirlawan territory. Bring our boys home! Should this pass, this will be George Smiths first act upon becoming Defence Minister setting a precedent of consulting the Senate before hurling our troops about, unlike his predecessors. |

Message | It pleases me that this will be the final act i vote upon before i step down from the leadership of the ACPD. Throughout my last term in the Presidential office i witnessed elements of the GC turn Uwakah into their own personal nation state which they ruled without senate or cabinet approval. The attacks in Uwakah for which secretary Hutter was arrested were carried out very conveniantly just before the senate passed a total approval of Merjam Sterks government. Hutter saw this was about to pass and ordered troops to disband the government. I have always been incredibally interested in the fact that the GC is surprisingly militaristic for a 'GREEN PARTY' and oddly voted against the environmental protection act even when they held the Environment ministry. What is your purpose? Who do you serve but your own fatcat power crazed interests? There are many things i will miss about being leader of the ACPD, but meeting with hypocritical GC representatives is not one of them. Former President Vivien Watterson ACPD Leader |

Message | It's true. The GC(VU) are not Green, they are Military-Libertarian. On the other hand, the GFP is actually a Green party. |

Message | It might have been, but why hasn't the president, at the time an ACPD member, didn't veto this act? The foreign minister could also have been able to prevent that, no? So, it's not only a GC problem, but a coalition problem. And the extreme-right is just trying to find a guilty one by accusing the GC. The GC also has/had some problems, especially environmentally. As a member of International Greens, we would have expected VERY much from them. Anyway, we will support this act because it is correct. |

Message | The Moderates will support this act, it's for the best interest of all parties concerned and not just the ones in Dorvik. |

Message | The LSPD has colossally missed the point - the cabinet was NOT consulted before this action and had expressed their views by voting yes in the Senate to support the Sterk regime. So the rest of the coalition had made it pretty clear what they supported - the Green Coalition cannot be excused, and we feel that the DCMLU are just trying to shift the blame from their new turncoat of a member. Our advice - watch your backs around the Green Coalition. |

Message | This is foolish, Uwakah and Kirlawa have asked us to provide them with protection until unification is complete. Furthermore, we would be leaving the region to the wim of the Fascists and the DDR who are not pulling troops out of the country. |

Message | We shall repeat: the Green Coalition, yes, was a part of the problem, being both Foreign and Defense minister. But, the Prime Minister, the President and the Domestic Affairs minister could have, atleast, told the GC they were not agreeing with their views at the time, atleast, officially without violent protest and arrestations. It then took an election or two for the ACPD and the NatPros to leave their cabinet places. From an outside point of view, it seemed like the two other parties of the coalition could, atleast, have told the two GC ministers to calm down about this. Anyway, militarism always have been a part of the Dorvik right, so we're not surprised by the lack of actions taken by the ACPD and the NatPros... |
