Bill: First Party Legality

Details

Submitted by[?]: First Party Of Hobrazia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2347

Description[?]:

We are tired of being classed as an illegal party within the state by some other parties, however the people have spoken and we have made clear that we are happy to work with other parties and also that we are commited to state facilities in certain areas.

We call with this act an end to this proclaimed illegality and to make the First Party a fully recognised party within the Hobrazian political system as the people clearly want.

MessageAs we stated ... a few decades ago, the legality of the FPoH was to be decided by a public vote (the election was used). Though, at that point, the FPoH support dipped, it did not reduce significantly and a large proportion of the people maintained their support.
Whilst we admit to still having concerns over certain members, and their possible links to outside influences, we believe that the Party itself has been accepted by the people and as a representative of the people, we must therefore accept that judgement.

MessageWe should remind the other parties that this bill will not have any effect as the FPoH has no legitimate power to put forward motions.

Furthermore we must state that as long as the Neesam family is in charge of the FPoH there will always be suspicions and unsolved mysteries. Should the Neesam family though step out of policy and let other forces take over the party we might consider a recall of the NULL AND VOID declarations.

MessageWe must tell the HPP that it is up to First Party members to chose the leader, they chose the best candidate they think of for the job. This is the way it will always work and we can also point out that the people of Hobrazia disagree, as they elected our leader emperor elect. Which implies that they have no suspicions or problems with our leader or party.

MessageThe voters elect MPs or MSs in this case, and these delegates has voted for a declaration taking any legitimate or illegitimate power obtained away from FPoH. These also have, by legitimate methods, to remove this NULL AND VOID declaration. They haven't, thus you still do not have any legitimate power. Furthermore no power to put forward motions in the Senate.

On the leader thing, the Neesam family could stop running for leadership of the FPoH, that would prevent misunderstanding as it is primarily that family that have resulted in the illegalisation.

MessageThis is a sad day for Hobrazian national pride. You have now voted to legalise a party who are not even worthy of existing.

Mind you, Crasp doesn't care as he's now the official Eternal Father of Darnussia.

MessageThis resolution do not count in any matter as it is put forward by the FPoH who legitimate has no power in Hobrazia. Thus the FPoH cannot put forward motions in the Senate nor make us follow such a motion.

MessageHowever it has passed and by a majority, so we are now classed as legal, as the law was signed in by the emperor elect.

MessageIt still doesn't change anything. An illegal party's policies are NULL AND VOID.

MessageThe Emperor Elect is not legitimate and the FPoH cannot put forward motions. Thus this do not count.

Random fact: Once approved, players should copy Cultural Protocols into a bill in the debate section of their nation page, under the title of "OOC: Cultural Protocols". This bill should include links to the passed Cultural Protocol bill and the Moderation approval.
