MessageSounds good to me; while these products may not be safe, there is much to be learned from them.

MessageI would allow selling as consumers may wish to buy them. These would, of course, be clearly labelled as GM crops in a similar way to those using pesticides so that customers are fully aware of what they are buying.

MessageHowever we know not what effect the sale of these products may have on the consumer, whereas with pesticides we know that as long as they are controlled and (mostly) removed from the product before sale, there is very little harm to the consumer.
It would be irrisponsible of the Government to release these products for sale to the consumer without trial studies being carried out to verify what effects they may have.

MessageHow about just adding that this bill will be reviewed as new evidence comes in about the safety of GM crops? Would that be a good compromise?

Random fact: Once approved, players should copy Cultural Protocols into a bill in the debate section of their nation page, under the title of "OOC: Cultural Protocols". This bill should include links to the passed Cultural Protocol bill and the Moderation approval.
