Bill: Educational Modernisation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Liberal Alliance
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2082
Description[?]:
As we have said before we feel that Telamon deserves world class education provision and we fel that this is best provided by the private sector who have much more money to invest in education than the government can. The government's role should be one of regulation and ensure that all have access to education which is provided by paying the fees for poorer families and so guaranteeing that all have a place in the school of their choice. However, as many of you seem completely opposed to private education and believe, wrongly, that some children would be denied access we are prepared at least as a transisitonal measure to allow government funding of private charter schools run by charities and not for profit organisations. |
