Bill: Foreign Missionary and Investment Control Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: AM Populist Social Democrats

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2350

Description[?]:

Whereas, a bill by the LFFR failed because our party's ministers were unable to make it to the Convocation to vote, but

Whereas, It was a bill we could have most certainly supported, and one we feel is necessary-- as in investments the government should be able to determine, case by case, which industries are vital enough to our security and sovereignty that they must be prevented from falling into foreign hands, and addtionally, that it is an insult to citizens of our nation that we would accept missionaries who believe OUR nation is backwards and that THEY must convert us to their views.

We now offer the same proposals with our full support and hope other parties will join with us in enacting it into law.
