Message | "Children do have a right to an education which trumps the right to enter the labour market" 1.Excuse me but, how is this bill taking away the children's right to be educated. I'll answer that, its not. Under our laws, schooling is compulsory, so there isn't anyway this bill could take away the children's right to education. 2. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with education, Child labour is perfectly legal, just a lot of regulations. This bill only loosens those regulations, where do you see education in that? |

Message | "2. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with education, Child labour is perfectly legal, just a lot of regulations. This bill only loosens those regulations, where do you see education in that?" The extra regulation ensures that the child gets a decent education. The child in question shouldn't have their time occupied with work when they should be developing. "1.Excuse me but, how is this bill taking away the children's right to be educated. Nevertheless, there are some professions unsuitable to children. Coal mining, for instance, or prison guard, bar attendant, etc. |
