Bill: Local Police Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Phalangists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2351

Description[?]:

We propose devolving the matter of policing to the Atabeks. A National Police Force is divisive force in our nation. This would also serve to undermine Article Three of the Atyr Peace Treaty as the role of foreign peace keepers to fulfill the role of policing would be effectively ended.

Message"You seem to forget that whilst your people occupy our land the laws passed in the Sanhedrin only apply to the three inner Beiteynuese provinces, Pontesi law is forced upon the people in Tadraki and Endild and they have chosen to pass policing to the neutral forces."

OOC: I think... although we pass Mehoz bills there so it's all really confusing.

Random fact: Voters have an extra appreciation for bills that actually get passed, so if you want to maximally take profit from your votes, make sure you compromise with others.
