From | | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | Hmm, I thought conservatives were in favor of the rights of local governments... This just goes to show the hypocracy of the 'moral' right. |

From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | Blah Blah Blah, same old nonsense. When did I claim to be a conservative, when did I claim to be in favour of local govts, when did I even claim to be right wing? I simply vote for what I believe is right I dont listen to this nonsence. |

From | | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | You said you support conservative civil rights. That generally includes local governments.
What's the point of a moral society if the 'morals' are being enforce by rule of law? |

From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | Yes, I support conservative civil rights. The local govt question doesnt fall under civil rights in my opinion. |

From | | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | So people don't have the right to determine how things work in their area? Largonia and Dorvan are drastically different areas; one might find gambling a beneficial source of income and the other might find it to be too much of a hassle/etc. To enforce one view across the whole country is unrealistic and wrong. |

From | Dorvish Popular Front | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | So why dont we just split into 5 different countries? In fact, lets just let each little village have its own parliament to decide how it works. The bottom line, people become addicted to gambling wherever it is legalised, people lives can be ruined by gambling wherever it is legalised and rich people profit from the common mans misery wherever it is legalised. For the goods of the common Dorvikian and as a blow against corporate fat cats, we vote NO. |

From | | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | People can become addicted to McDorvik's too, should we outlaw that? |

From | | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | Really, you see a 1-10% level of gambling addicts as a bigger problem as obesity which in many countries affects over 50% of the population? |

From | Dorvik Conservative Party | To | Debating the Ban on Gambling | Message | We change our vote to no. The government should not be intervening with what the people want to do in their spare time (within reason of course) |
