Message | Why would that be better? Marriage is clearly not a matter of the government. |
Date | 22:29:07, January 27, 2007 CET | From | Ny Socialdemokratisk Parti | To | Debating the Marriage Bill |
Message | marriage often gives couples several rights, such as easing the transfer of assets between them after one partner dies amognst other things. We see no reason why the state should not recognise marriage and allow non-religious people to get married outside of church if they wish to. |
Date | 00:29:41, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Guds og Konges Kjemprene | To | Debating the Marriage Bill |
Message | Because marriage doesn't do any good to the state, so we wouldn't give several rights to married couples. If someone want's his partner as heir, he should simply write it in his testament. |

Random fact: Cultural Protocol bills must provide a real-life equivalent or short description for the ethnic groups, languages and religions contained in them, such that it would be easy for an unfamiliar player to understand (e.g. "Dundorfian = German"). Where appropriate, they should also provide guidance to players on where to find help with translations and character names. This might include, for example, links to Google Translate, Behind the Name's Random Name Generator and Fantasy Name Generators. |
