Bill: Renegotiation of the Atyr Peace Treaty

Details

Submitted by[?]: Phalangists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.

Voting deadline: February 2352

Description[?]:

We propose, given the change of circumstances in our nation, and the fact that the population of our nation have now rejected the terms of the Atyr Peace Treaty at the ballot box, and in the face of renewed Jewish terrorism, that the terms of the Atyr Peace Treaty are rejected out of hand by the Sanhedrin.

Therefore we put this vote to the legislature, and if the majority support, the disputed territories shall reject the Treaty and call upon the Pontesian withdrawal to cease.

MessageDamn, I assumed this would automatically take eight months, like the Bill proposed by the ASG in the last session of the Sanhedrin.

MessageAye, I'll make sure I vote for it in the final month then, everyone else can vote for it now (by everyone else I am assuming there are only two other active parties)

MessageOOC: The ASG one only took that long because it had a proposal on it. Also it does seem at the moment like we are the only active ones, I don't really know about Likud but HD is committed when he has the time, he is just busy at the moment.

Ma'Avak and the ASG make a majority that would send this through.

Failing that, I am I mod. I could reset this to the debate phase if you so desired.
