Description[?]:
This bill is meant to solely be used for sorting out a cabinet. The L.D.P. asks all parties to reconcile their differences whatever they may be, and help the nation. The L.D.P. will take the opportunity to make a cabinet proposal and leave it in debate. We ask that all parties ask for each seat that they respectively desire. In turn, we will sort out the seat so we may have a truly united cabinet. |

Message | First off, the L.D.P. asks all parties opinions on the following information: How many parties should be included and how many seats should each be given? The L.D.P. has no problems with sharing power with every party except the G.P.P. The reason for this stands because they have yet to acquire more power and experience. |
Date | 22:05:18, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Moderate Republican Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The M.R.P. believes it should possess two or three seats in the new cabinet since it is currently a fast growing party in Cildania. The L.P., L.D.P., and Divine Party of the Republic should all be included in the new cabinet since they are the second, third, and fourth largest parties respectively. |
Date | 22:14:38, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The L.D.P. thanks the M.R.P. for its contribution to this resolution. The L.D.P. wishes to hear all other parties opinions as well. |
Date | 22:41:58, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Union for a Responsible Republic | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The LP will have to carefully consider any Cabinet proposal. We would prefer any proposed Cabinet to include the Chancellery, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Trade and Industry portfolios if at all possible. We also suggest that until a new Cabinet is sworn in that the Senate recognize several Acting officers to assume the duties of the absent Ministers. The President of the Republic shall be Acting Foreign Minister*. The Finance Minister shall be Acting Defence Minister. The Chief Justice of the Cildanian Republic shall be Acting Justice Minister. The Chancellery shall remain vacant. (OOC:*- Since the President has the same powers to release "Announce a world-wide press release", "Draft an international diplomatic" and the ability to propose Treaties for ratification that the Foreign Minister possesses so I think it makes sense for the office holder to be "Acting Foreign Minister".) |
Date | 22:52:09, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The Liberal Democratic Party cannot be sure as to who wants what, other than what has been stated, so we have drafted a mock cabinet. It will be much easier to move the seats around when they are seen like below. Chancellor: Liberal Progressives Foreign Affairs: Liberal Progressives Internal Affairs: One Cildania Party Finance: Liberal Progressives Defense: Liberal Democratic Party Justice: One Cildania Party Infrastructure & Transporation: One Cildania Party Health & Social Services: Liberal Democratic Party Education & Culture: Divine Party of the Republic Science & Technology: Divine Party of the Republic Food & Agriculture: Liberal Democratic Party Environment & Tourism: Divine Party of the Republic Trade & Industry: Liberal Progressives Remember, these will most likely be changed if we cannot come to a consensus. |
Date | 23:01:15, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | It may be noted that the O.C.P. will be interchanged with another party if they so choose to decline the seats because of 'various' reasons. Otherwise, the O.C.P. will be given these respective seats unless they are changed around by further debate. |
Date | 23:11:11, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Moderate Republican Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The O.C.P. only has 27 seats in the Senate and therefore should only be given a maximum of one seat in the new cabinet. Also, the M.R.P. wishes to occupy the positions of Justice Minister and Infrastructure and Transportation Minister. |
Date | 23:24:49, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The Liberal Progressives have already requested Infrastructure & Transportation. As for Justice Minister, why does the M.R.P. want the Justice seat and can they make a probable reason? |
Date | 23:27:27, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The L.D.P. will make these seats clear: Finance goes to the L.P. Foreign Affairs goes to the L.P. There are to be realitively and leeway on any other parties getting these two seats. The L.P. has proven that they can handle these seats and would do well if they were to control them. |
Date | 23:28:33, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | Also, the O.C.P. has much a great deal of experience under their belt. They are entitled to some seats. The L.D.P. will not rule the O.C.P. down to a small scale. |
Date | 23:42:29, January 28, 2007 CET | From | One Cildania Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | As expected the OCP does not wish to be part of this cabinet. It is with relief however that the LP will continue to hold major cabinet positions as the party has a strong record of being capable in its ability to run a successful cabinet. |
Date | 23:48:58, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | Very well. The three seats originally doled out to the O.C.P. will be open. If there are any parties that wish to control the O.C.P.'s seats, then please say so. However, please include a legitimate reason. There will be a balance of power within the cabinet, so a party that already has 3 or 4 seats will most likely not be getting another seat in their possession. But, having said that, seeing how we are part of a democratic system, every party is entitled to request another seat. It is to be known though, if the O.C.P. ever does wish to have some sort of power in the Cabinet, we will be happy to install them into it. |

Message | The Liberal Democratic Party has drafted another mock cabinet. Chancellor: Liberal Progressives Foreign Affairs: Liberal Progressives Internal Affairs: OPEN Finance: Liberal Progressives Defense: Liberal Democratic Party Justice: OPEN Infrastructure & Transporation: Moderate Republican Party (Pending) Health & Social Services: Liberal Democratic Party Education & Culture: Divine Party of the Republic Science & Technology: Divine Party of the Republic Food & Agriculture: Liberal Democratic Party Environment & Tourism: Divine Party of the Republic Trade & Industry: Liberal Progressives This is the same as the last. It is not permanent. If there are any objections, please state them. |
Date | 23:59:44, January 28, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | The L.D.P. believes that if there is any party that will receive the least amount of seats, it is to be the Moderate Republican Party. The M.R.P. is very new and has less power than the premier front running three parties (L.P., L.D.P., D.P.R.). We have respect for the M.R.P., but we believe that other parties are entitled to more power, unless the other parties will have no objection on giving the M.R.P. more seats. Having said that... The L.D.P. does wish to have control of the Judicial Seat. However, if this cannot be obtained by our party, there will be little problem. It will all depend on which party is to get it, though. |
Date | 00:03:26, January 29, 2007 CET | From | Union for a Responsible Republic | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | I suggest giving Internal Affairs to the Divine Party of the Republic and Justice to the LDP. That provides each major party with 4 seats. |
Date | 00:07:04, January 29, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | Very well. The L.D.P. agrees, and will put these parties into accordance with the suggested seats. |
Date | 00:11:45, January 29, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |

Date | 00:33:35, January 29, 2007 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Sorting Resolution |
Message | Note: If all the parties included into the cabinet proposal vote yes, then the cabinet proposal will be immediately written and sent to a vote. The resolution is only to make sure all parties within the cabinet agree to the terms presented. |

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
