Bill: Kucinich Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Liberal Democratic Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2352
Description[?]:
This bill would change the existing law from: 1) The nation shall never purchase, produce, or store biological or chemical weaponry, for military purposes. Research and development of the technology is permitted. To: The nation shall never develop, purchase or store biological or chemical weaponry. Eleven years ago, the L.D.P. presented a legislation to the Senate Body regarding biological weaponry in warfare. This legislation passed by the full approval of the Senate, with the exception of one party. The L.D.P. asks once again, for the Senate to pass another extension of this bill. This respective bill made it so that Cildania would never use biological and chemical weaponry in war. The bill we present now, would change existing law so that our nation would never develop biological and chemical weaponry. If the Senate already outlawed use of these weapons, then why shouldn't we outlaw the development of them? I ask the Senate to once again take a step for peace and a step for humanity by passing this bill. Thank you. |

Message | Although the M.R.P. disagrees with the name of this bill (for various reasons), biological and chemical weapons should not be developed or research by Cildania. First of all, we are a neutral nation and have no use for this technology. Secondly, the use of biological and chemical weapons in warfare is a very dirty and unnecesary tactic. |
