Bill: Privatise National TV Station

Details

Submitted by[?]: Capitalist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2083

Description[?]:

There is no need for the government to run a national tv station, this will cost taxpayers and low income payers to pay for something they may not watch. It is a burden on society.

We shall keep a radio station under government control as this is cheap to run and if we need to broadcast a message to the people then we can use our power to force TV stations to allow the government the right to broadcast in emergencies, also to inform them to go to the govt. radio station.

We offer this as a compromise, we are in favour of privatising both but will just stick to privatising the TV station if we get support from other parties.

MessagePrivate companies educate our nation too. See the history channel, the discovery channel and many others. They all educate our populace, we do not need to fund a national tv station to try and educate them when we dont need to.

MessageMANOWAR ... Nice Bill Over That Hill ... Who wants the highest Tower in farming the country needs a National TV station to discuss upon ... Who wants to make the Congress or Parliament lose more in population trust but to gain more in people's freedom of thought and independently speak, who wants these must privatise the National TV station ...
Who has an economy strongly shared with people, downside in the teritorries, will benefit from such a "particular" independence and freedom ... The privatised TV station will rush then with compassion toward the Congress or Parliament instead of promoting an inevitable higher integrity of the same institutions when the National TV is not privatised. But not even USA does not have an economy strongly shared with people ... except if we consider the strongly shared cashbones with mafias ... I suggest that a country in poverty like we have ... with fanatical religious population and pretty conservative opinions ... I say you to vote against the privatisation. That is what we do!

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map.
