November 2090 Announcement from the Government of the Federated States of Rutania
This press message was released by the Government of the Federated States of Rutania. Nations of Terra,
The Federal President of the Federated States of Rutania would like to inform the world that he finds the actions taken by the Beluzian Republic to try and interfere and influence the Government of Rutania to be both unnecessary and shameful. They have closed their waters to Rutanian shipping in response to our nation using its sovereign right to reserve the right to develop nuclear, biological and chemical weapons.
The issue is simple, any nation has the right, if it chooses, to reserve the right to develop, purchase and develop weapons of mass destruction. Two other nations on our continent also reserve this right, not the one as the Beluzian Republic claims. Both the Dundorf Federation and the Endralonian Empire reserve their right to construct these weapons with no actions taken against them by the Beluzian Republic.
We respectfully ask that Beluzia votes against placing restrictions on Rutanian shipping and respects that like we have no right to interfere with the policy of your government, you have no right to interfere with the policy of ours. It would also appear that in this bill http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=12096 the Beluzian Republic has made some raids into the state of Delvar in Rutania. I have not got confirmed reports that this is the case but if it is then these actions are scandalous and bordering on a declaration of war.
We inform the world that we have not developed weapons of mass destruction but that we reserve our right to do so just as any nation can do so. We ask for support from the world and call on them to condemn the prejudiced actions taken by the Beluzian Republic against our nation.
Signed;
Gregory Ellis, Federal President, Federated States of Rutania
Bruce Dickinson, Foreign Minister, Federated States of Rutania
Signed, the Government of the Federated States of Rutania
