Announcement from the Government of the Federal Republic of Jelbania

This press message was released by the Government of the Federal Republic of Jelbania.

Dear friends of Terra; nations leaders, citizens,

Jelbania is on the verge of becoming, in addition to being an economic powerhouse, a military superpower.

Following the "Major Reform of the Military Bill 2918" passing in the House of Representatives, Jelbania will, by law, be allowed to use "biological weapons in warfare for any reason" and Jelbania "reserves the right to develop, construct and store nuclear arms". Jelbania will join the elite nations who have the power to secure their sovereignty and world peace through the use of nuclear and chemical weapons.

In addition to this, land mines will be used freely by the Jelbanian military to secure the protection of the state and the people in times of war, ultimately making Jelbania a safer place. Military or Civilian National Service will also be compulsary.

Also, the bill includes legislation stating that "Surrendering enemy combatants are summarily executed". Enemies of Jelbania be warned.

This may seem an agressive approach but we wish to reassure Terra that Jelbania is merely doing this to make itself stronger and more secure. We are seeking good relationships with our neighbours and selected states in other continents and have not made these changes to our law to expand or influence other nations.

Jelbania and Jelbanians just want to be respected, recognised as a strong and powerful state and race.

Signed,
President of the Federal Republic of Jelbania, Irvine Campbell

Signed,
the Government of the Federal Republic of Jelbania
