October 2924 Announcement from the Government of the Federal Commonwealth of Sekowo
This press message was released by the Government of the Federal Commonwealth of Sekowo. he Most High and Great Emperor, of the Great and Mighty Ishida Dynasty, Ruler of the Celestial Palace and the Eternal Harmony of the Empire Magnificent, Living Descendent of the Sun Goddess and God Supreme to the Sekowon People and those of the Wider World Yukio Ishida the Great wrote:
Respected Leaders of the World, Fellow Monarchs, Dovani Neighbors and Communist-Anarchist filth, greetings from the Celestial Palace of the Eternal Harmony and Empire Magnificent.
Judge our Imperial Reign not by its violent beginning, do not let your prejudices say that this was merely a military coup. Before the Shogunate, the nation was without a government, and by striking down the forces of destructive leftism and chaotic federalism we have again brought order to our Empire. Let it be known that it is our will that Sekowo be recognized today and forever as an Empire, not a Commonwealth, a Federation or a Peoples Republic. Our ancestors were foolish to relinquish the Divine Mandate, and We shall rule as a true Gao-Showan Emperor, not a Federalist weakling. Do not mistake our attitude for aggression, for we are simply being assertive for the first time in centuries. We want our lost territories back and possibly will acquire more of them, but we will only resort to force if you make us, and our reformed Imperial Army and vast defense industry will be fearsome. We intend to be a strong Empire in terms of industry, sea power, air power, population, military strength and spiritual power. We intend to be a great force spreading civilized ideals across the globe. Stand with us and benefit from our greatness as we will from yours, or risk a foolish conflict with the Eternal Harmony, Empire Magnificent and Shogunate of Sekowo and all it's subject colonies.
Hakkō ichiu,
Sekowo, Banzai!Signed, the Government of the Federal Commonwealth of Sekowo

March 2924 Announcement from the Government of the Democratic Republic of Aloria
This press message was released by the Government of the Democratic Republic of Aloria. 2924 STATE OF THE NATION ADDRESS
By President Richmond Gardonn
Democratic Republic of Aloria
Ladies and gentlemen, fellow Alorians and members of the international community, good day. I am here today to provide an update of the current state of the Democratic Republic of Aloria.
In the past year, Parliament was able to pass several legislation which are aimed at improving the conditions of Alorians in the nation. Religion taxes have finally been abolished, providing religious freedom to every citizen and making sure that the separation between religion and state is maintained. Government subsidies and investments in industries have now been limited to companies which provide vital resources to the country, thus making sure that we have enough resources to satisfy our needs while making sure that expenses in the national budget are lessened. The spirit of goodwill is now expected to be promoted even further with the approval of the law that shall give disaster aid relief to countries in need instead of the "tied-in" aid that had been in effect in the past.
There is one law that was passed which I am not in agreement with, and that is the law that gives the army the power to decide on the use of landmines. Though I do not agree with this legislation, I hope that this was a good decision in the part of the Parliament.
Right now, we are currently aiming for the ratification of two treaties for Aloria, which are the Treaty of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the International Treaty on the Separation of Religion and State. I also aim for more treaties to be ratified in the near future, as we slowly open our doors once again to peaceful foreign relations.
As expected, our surplus has now increased to 60,100,535,385 ALO. We have enough money for contigency funds and other expenses that may be deemed as necessary in the near future.
With this, I thank the members of Parliament for their support, and I hope that we can continue to work well with each other in the upcoming years. I believe we are on the right track, and with your help we can continue to be in the right track. Signed, the Government of the Democratic Republic of Aloria

January 2924 New Year's Day 2924 Celebrations
An eventful year has come to an end. Looking back, we see that many people have reason to consider themselves fortunate - while many others can rightfully say that chance has not been on their side. The same is true of countries: we've seen good times and bad across the world. But, as we pass into the year 2924, the whole world is united in hope for the future. Will the new year be as good as the last? Or as bad? Or will our fortunes change? Those questions remain open, but this year, as always, their answers will often depend on the actions of our politicians and leaders.
