Announcement from the Government of the United States of Indrala

This press message was released by the Government of the United States of Indrala.

PR: Governing for a Greater Indrala

The new Government elected last year in Indrala has a historic chance to create an Indrala which is in touch with the world, and recent bills have allowed for aid to be sent out to foreign countries in need, instead of following the isolationist path which Indrala has followed for so long. Our Government colleagues have already issued a release expressing sympathy following the tragedy in the Endralonian Empire and we shall endeavour to bring Indrala into the world community.

Indrala is changing. We must embrace this change if we are to compete in a modern world and if we are to advance in modern society.

We look forward to greater links with the world community.

With regards,

Marie McColl
Foreign Minister
United States of Indrala.
Conservative Alliance.

Signed,
the Government of the United States of Indrala

New Year's Day 2098 Celebrations

An eventful year has come to an end. Looking back, we see that many people have reason to consider themselves fortunate - while many others can rightfully say that chance has not been on their side. The same is true of countries: we've seen good times and bad across the world. But, as we pass into the year 2098, the whole world is united in hope for the future. Will the new year be as good as the last? Or as bad? Or will our fortunes change? Those questions remain open, but this year, as always, their answers will often depend on the actions of our politicians and leaders.
