Announcement from the Government of the Mordusian Federal Republic

This press message was released by the Government of the Mordusian Federal Republic.

To all seismologists:

A recent accident in one of our mines in the province of Hosamia has caused the accidental detonation of a great amount of digging explosives followed by a cave-in. Fortunately, no casualties occurred due to this incident.

As a consequence, we will do a staged closure of the mine to avoid further danger. In the following years, expect similar explosions in this area.

The Mordusian government thanks you for your attention and hopes that your instruments have not been affected in any way.

Signed,
the Government of the Mordusian Federal Republic

Announcement from the Government of the Aldurian Republic

This press message was released by the Government of the Aldurian Republic.

Fellow World Leaders,

As you all know by now, peace has been restored in the Aldurian Republic, with the death and arrest of the leadership behind the terrorist actions of the National Socialists and the YRNS faction. A non-militant portion of the National Socialist Party, called the Party fur das Vatherland, has taken control of the seats delegated to the National Socialists, and will be welcomed back, provided the delegates sitting are not found by the Justice Ministry to have been involved in the treasonous and terrorist actions taken by the NSP and YRNS.

At this time, as Consul of the Aldurian Republic, I formally apologize to all nations affected by the terrorism in Alduria, and request a reopening of diplomatic ties. Lastly, I have attached a statement made by PfdV leader Gustav Kiel, at his request, regarding the situation.

May peace and democracy prosper.

Yours,

Michael D. Flaherty
Consul of the Aldurian Republic

From the Party fur das Vatherland:

In the past few weeks, A lunacy fell over our former leader. With support of a brainwashed youth, the NSP changed from a political party to a militant facist group. All people who fought against this were slaughtered, and to survive you had to play along, as I admittidly did. While our party still stands behind the ideals of National Socialism, we have realized that we must make this happen through the field of politics, not through a mass uprising.

Signed,
the Government of the Aldurian Republic

Announcement from the Government of the Aldurian Republic

This press message was released by the Government of the Aldurian Republic.

Edward Gruen and the leadership of the NSP and YRNS were killed in a cruise missile strike. Earlier this two months ago. Earlier this week, their deaths were comfirmed when their bodies were discovered in the rubble of the former NSP headquarters.

The former YRNS death squads are being rounded up and placed in prison until they have been examined by psychologists to ensure that NSP brainwashing has been eliminated and they are ready to returnt to normal society.

We are glad to report that life has returned to a state of relative normalcy in Alduria.

Signed,

Announcement from the Government of the Aldurian Republic

This press message was released by the Government of the Aldurian Republic.

The Aldurian Republic wishes to make it known to the nations of the world that, as a result of our latest elections, the National Socialist Party no longer controls a decisive number of seats in the House of Delegates. However, as Alduria is a democratic nation, we cannot completely remove the NSP from power as long as our people continue to vote for them.

Thanks to the passage of our anti-terrorism bill, the YRNS is now an illegal terrorist group, and we will immediately take all action possible to apprehend the leaders. We will also apprehend the leadership of the NSP, however, we cannot force them to resign from their seats in the House of Delegates. We will place them under house arrest until the time comes that they stand trial for their crimes.

We request that our fellow nations reopen their embassies in Alduria. The Aldurian military will provide them with protection if they request it.

Signed,
the Government of the Aldurian Republic
