December 2112 Announcement from the Government of the Selucian Empire
This press message was released by the Government of the Selucian Empire. It is with great pleasure that I announce that the Selucian Empire is now hosting a peace summit between the Quanzar Emirate and the Deltarian Republic in the historical city of Victoria, Uleroth.
The Deltarians and Quanzaris have had their share of differences in the past, oftentimes moving to and from the brink of war. We in the Selucian Empire sincerely hope that the Summit in Victoria heralds the beginning of a new era of peace between these two nations and in our world at large.
Vladimir Nafta,
Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Selucian EmpireSigned, the Government of the Selucian Empire

October 2112 Announcement from the Government of the Republic of Likatonia
This press message was released by the Government of the Republic of Likatonia. The acting Consul, Anakah Anakrousis, of the Anarch Anakrousite Party of Likatonia would like to extend the hand of welcome to international observers, for the upcoming democratic elections of May 2113.
These are to be the first truly democratic elections in the brave new 'Republic of Likatonia', since the overthrow of the Tyrant Kardovan in June of 2111.
Non-domestic election officials are invited to come and ensure the validity of these first steps of fledgling democracy, and, hopefully, to witness the simultaneous election of our first 'post-Kardovan' Head of State.
The message ends with the earnest thanks of the humble Advocate, and acting-Consul, of the people's Republic of Likatonia, Anakah Anakrousis.Signed, the Government of the Republic of Likatonia
