October 3225 Announcement from the Government of the Unholy Davostan Empire
This press message was released by the Government of the Unholy Davostan Empire. Dear friends; governments, people of Terra.
I speak to you today as an example of what determination can achieve via the ballot box, and to announce the democratic era of Davostan.
As you will be fully aware, Davostan, for hundreds of years, has been a personal dictatorship for the abhorrent NWOIAUCFCCNUCDMF SatanicRepublicanParty that has terrorised the civilians of this great nation, as well as destroying our reputation abroad. However, the people have overturned this.
Last year, the Movement for Freedom and Democracy re-established itself for the first time since 3045. In 3045, due to obvious electoral fraud, the Movement's massive support was crushed as a result of the NWOIAUCFCCNUCDMF SatanicRepublicanParty's rigging of the election results: they claimed they received all but 288,847 of the 453,481,464 votes. This year, however, the people have collapsed the tyrannical regime of Davostan. The Movement has now formed a political party known as the 'Freedom Party', headed by myself. Our party will be the guardian of democracy, small-government, and civil rights. Never again will the people of Davostan live in such miserable conditions.
Due to the constitutional alterations the NWOIAUCFCCNUCDMF SatanicRepublicanParty made to keep themselves in power, reforms will be slow initially. However, by the end of this legislative term I can guarantee that a fully-functional democratic system will have been established and inroads will be made towards restoring civil rights.
I would like to take this moment to encourage similar democratic movements across Terra to fight for freedom. The Movement for Freedom and Democracy is a great example of what can be achieved if the population works together against despot dictators.
I would also ask the people of Davostan to feel comfortable in establishing other political parties to ensure no party ever causes oppression again.
Thank you for your time,
Jack Adamson, leader of the Freedom Party.
Signed, the Government of the Unholy Davostan Empire

January 3225 New Year's Day 3225 Celebrations
An eventful year has come to an end. Looking back, we see that many people have reason to consider themselves fortunate - while many others can rightfully say that chance has not been on their side. The same is true of countries: we've seen good times and bad across the world. But, as we pass into the year 3225, the whole world is united in hope for the future. Will the new year be as good as the last? Or as bad? Or will our fortunes change?
