This press message was released by the Government of the République Fédérée de Jelbania.
From the Premier ministre de la République William Galaski,
Head of the Government of République Fédérée de Jelbania
I have heard that there is a war in the horizon, Aldegar, is entering in Civil War. Our embassador at Aldegar has confirmed that tensions are rising, mostly due to the recently created Royalist Watch. Here is what I have received from him:
When Jonathan, Prince of Aldegar died in March 2445 with no one recognising him as the heir to the throne, he left his son Robert a great task, to become King of Aldegar. In August 2448, with the support of Sir Alfred Pepper, the Duke of Buxton, Prince Robert raised an army of around 4000 men and sent appeals for troops around the world.
I am concerned and I have called for a extraodinary council of ministers and I have ordered a plenary session of the Assemblée Nationale. Jelbania must act now, in order to resolve this problem. i have taken a temporary side, however, I am not ordering the deployment of any troops until the plenary session of the Assemblée nationale is concluded with an answer to this issue. We will not stand with our arms folded seeing many die in Aldegar. I will await the full appearance of members of the Assemblée nationale, which should not happen until November. I will spend the whole of September in Aldegar, meeting officials from both sides to convene, to become aware of this situation. I will try my best to keep things inside the room and to prevent war but I fear, I come too late. I am going to the President and other parties in Jelbania and outside, to hopefully, put pressure to bring this war or near war, to an end.
I will make my best to help this situation come to the best of conclusions.
To Glory, For Jelbania, Forever!Signed,
the Government of the République Fédérée de Jelbania
