It has been great to serve my nation as the Minister of Foreign Affairs. Our nation has made many inroads to living up our potential. Though we are a prosperous nation, our work is not done. We must work persistently to preserve the freedoms we were granted.
My husband, Joel D. Oliver, founded the Graenix party 25 years ago. Since he stepped down as our leader, my family and I have stepped up to maintain what he started. I am so proud that our youngest child, Joey, is a candidate for Great Chieftan. Our oldest, Mateo, has recently come aboard and has been running for Chancellor. His wife Deena has served as Minister of Health and Social Services along with me while I was the Minister of Internal Affairs.
I went from being the first lady of Graenix, to serving as Minister of Internal and Foreign Affairs, the two most important and challenging positions. Now it is time to move foward. I will now take the reigns as the candidate for Chancellor. Mateo will now be our candidate for Great Chieftan, and little Joey will move to Foreign Affairs.
Some people would say my husband left prematurely, but this was his intention all along. He was never a politician, more of a statesman or humanitarian. With his ailing health, he still is active as much as he can be behind the scenes. This is no blow to my son Joey, he just has been taking a beating by the press with his 'lack of experience'. But after he serves as minister, there will be no doubt that he is a great leader just as his father was.
Sincerely, Kristah Evans-OliverSigned,
the Government of the United Tribes of Tukarali
