Today the 15th of May 12.02-12.33 AM, the bright blue skies over Durnóil, a harmonic mountain village in eastern Zanyal Valley, was disturbed by the terrible noise of RPG rockets launched from the Zanyali Mountain Ridge bordering Kanjor.
The village, inhabitated by 900 persons, soon evacuated it's population to the shelters, and no one was hurt although three buildings were hit, including the school which was partially destroyed by the RPG launchers (see picture).
The Mayor of the city, Ferrán Kirdalé, has stated that the bombing might have been a result of a failed attempt to hit a radar station five kilometers to the south of Durnóil. It is unclear whether or not the AF lies behind this bombing, since the terror organisation has not claimed or denied responsibility yet. The Mayor, who is a member of the NBM;s sister organisation ZVM, said that he was happy that no one was injured.
The Imperial Airforce has patroled alongst the border, but has not yet spotted the terrorists. "They have plenty of spots to hide in on these mountains. And they could have slipped into Kanjor", airforce captain Jean Baufour nodded to our reporters.
The people of Durnóil complained to our reporters.
Walter Alóns, 65, Retiree: "This is the result you'll get when you are too meek. These scums hit our school. Five minutes more, and 30 children would have died."
Jessica Bierne, 27, Teacher: "I did know what I saw was coming because I am a member of the LYA, and we have trained for such things. So I put on the fire alarm and assembled all the children on the schoolyard. I do... not... know... why anyone would want to hurt children!"
Félix Complain, 8, Pupil: "That was cool, what happened... I mean... boom! No school in two weeks."
The Imperial Military has ordered the three legions stationed in Zanyal Valley to stand on alert. The first time in over a 200 years (during the Union Francàise Crisis) such a measure has been withtaken.
