In her daily press conference entirely directed to the crisis with the university students, the Prime Minister said: "I told you and I told them, you have 72 hours, plenty of time to pack up, you disrespect the laws, you go to jail. More than 30,000 students refused to leave their respective campuses and they were immediately arrested after the 72 hour deadline. No casualties were reported. I want to make this very clear, given the situation of our country, we can court martial all of them, but I am not going to do it. Now, don't force me to do so because I will do it given any chance. Students like you should know better, you should respect the laws, you should respect the decisions taken by the government. If you do not do so, you will suffer the consequences. They will all be charged with at least one count of trespassing and one count of disruption of public tranquility. More charges will be determined by the military as appropriate." As a reminder to the school officials, you need to leave in 48 hours as well. If you refuse, well, you know, what happened to your students. I will not have patience with you, you will face a martial court if you are arrested".
The press corps were shocked when they learned that the Prime Minister had actually said the word martial court. According to one of the reporters at the conference "I have known the Prime Minister for a while and I can tell you she is more serious than ever" said the reporter.
No encounters between the military and the school's faculty are expected. Signed,
the Government of the United Republics of Lodamun
