"It was with incredulity and a certain amount of embarsassement that I have read the recent announcement by the Foreign Minister, the Honourable Yuhanna Ahmet Mübarek, which was made soon after my election as President of the Democratic Republic of Tukarali.
I was reading with incredulity, because the Minister accused the Tukarese Democratic of communistic tendencies, which I have frankly never detcted in all my time as a TDU cabinet member, and for which the Foreign Minister is ulikely to find any evidence. I must assume that this random accusation stems from the need of the Minister to justify his party's cooperation with the Fascists of the so-called Republican Party.
I was also incredulous about the temerity of the Left Bloc to give the name "Democratic Alliance" to their cooperation with the Fascists, against which Tukarese Democracy had first to be won and then defendedvb for the past 35 years.
My embarrassement came from the fact that the Minister was apparently riding a dead horse. The ministers of the so-called Republican Party had resigned their offices, after a mere month in office, just before this announcement, proving once more their unreliability. We assume that the two parties will eventually renw their opportunistic alliance, but making that 'proud' announcement at that time seems somewhat odd.
I deplore the fact that the Foreign Minister has drawn international attention towards the Democratic Republic of Tukarali with such a defective statement, and apologize for using that same international attention for this clarification, which unfortunately seems to be necessary."
Ganbataar Bat-Erdene, President of the Democratic Republic of Tukarali
Signed,
the Government of the Democratic Republic of Tukarali
