Recent elections in the Democratic Republic of Aloria have revealed two interesting results. First and foremost, the conservative block has garnered more seats than the liberal block for a second time in a row! Secondly, the country has become further polarized as the conservative block is split between two social conservative parties (CP and IP), two libertarian parties (MLF and MLP), and one middle-of-the-road conservative party (AHR), who now holds the Supreme Governor role. While all agree on conservative basics like lower taxes and less spending, the social conservatives are taking a more "moral" approach to governance while the libertarians are advancing more "live and let live" principles. The more moderately conservative AHR party holds the swing-vote as it were, as well as cabinet picking rights, and this should prove interesting when it comes to issues such as budgets, government spending, social programs, employment, etc. Stay tuned! --Vincento Vanzetti, Moderate Libertarian Party (MLP), Democratic Republic of Aloria, Minister of Foreign Affairs, March, 2391Signed,
