| The International Terran Bank is a multinational bank that loans money to developing countries, private parties and other organizations. The International Terran Bank is committed to raising the the standard of living throughout Terra, promoting free trade and foreign investment to perpetuate globalization and to better all member countries. Any country, organization (i.e. a Political Party) or private individual may open an account with the International Terran Bank. In addition to standard bank accounts we also offer safety deposit accounts where you can deposit your possessions, heirlooms and national treasures in Terra's most secure vault. You can open a safety deposit account for a small annual fee here: (http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=6557) All account holders are subject to international law, proof of illegal activity in relation to funds held at the International Terran Bank may result in the seizure of all accounts. For a nation to become an account holder this treaty (http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3052 or http://classic.particracy.net/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=3271&ratify) must be ratified along with the amount to be deposited. All nations receive a 0.8% interest rate compounded annually, private individuals and organizations* may open accounts here. How We Operate: The International Terran Bank is a non-profit world financial institution recognized as such by most of Terra's nations. We operate at cost and provide loans to nations, organizations and private individuals. We also provide low interest microloans to people in developing countries in order for them to become more self-sufficient. The income we generate goes to pay for administration, overhead, our account holders and what is left goes to provide for Terra's impoverished in the form of foodstuffs and other aid.
