Description[?]:
The Freedom Party is a center-right political party in Saridan. Its current leader is George Hunter. The Freedom Party is generally regarded as a conservative party and often classified as a nationalist party. The party was formed as an opposition party shortly before the 2652 elections by future Chancellor Werner Regelung in what was then the communist "People's Republic of Saridan". In the 2656 elections the Freedom Party, together with the National Farmer's Union and the Frontier Party, toppled the ruling communist parties and formed the "Alliance for a New Saridan". Since the return of multiparty democracy, and the creation of the Saridani Union in February 2675, the Party has continuously strived to safeguard the freedoms and traditions of the Saridani people. The Freedom Party's platform is based on five main points: -Saridan for Saridanis -Preservation of Saridani Sovereignty -Maintaining a Strong Military -Upholding Law and Order -Protection of Private Property Saridani Chancellors: Werner Regelung (2684-2692) Nicholas Mach (2710-2723) George Hunter (2735-2752) Henry-Christian Stewart (2761-2765) Party Chairmen: Werner Regelung (2655-2692) Nicholas Mach (2692-2723) Gloria Monday (2723-2733) George Hunter (2733-2752) Henry-Christian Stewart (2752-2765) Don Paulson (2765-Present) |
