Description[?]:
FIAT JUSTITIA RUAT CÆLUM "Unconditional, unrestricted sovereignty belongs to the people." The Union of Radical Republicans was established in 2716 by a committee of citizens dedicated to guaranteeing a republican government by and for the people of Athlorcaea. We affirm that Athlorcaea is a nation created by its citizens through their declaration of its existence as a republic. We oppose all efforts to ensnare her people in the false claims of any individual to be owed control of her destiny by the right of God or History. Terra can be strengthened only through the free exercise of will and rights by each citizen of every nation under a constitution of their own creation. We support a strong federal state in Athlorcaea which shall guarantee and safeguard the rights of the citizen of the nation and regulate markets for continuous prosperity. Workers must have control of their own labor through the system of Democratic Workers' Councils. A firm environmental policy must be established to safeguard Athlorcaea's agriculture and her biological diversity. The nation must be prepared to defend itself against outside attempts to oppress her citizenry and to prevent internal rise of autocracy, and as such we support a permissive policy on civil rights and just as strong a military to defend these rights. While we recognize the Church as a backbone of Athlorcaean identity, her co-option by the Monarchy leads us to have no choice but to prevent the expansion of her powers. The platform of the Union is built on the ideals of Republicanism, Federalism, Constitutionalism, Revolutionism, Syndicalism, Environmentalism, and Internationalism. While the reborn party was founded at the Old Market in St. Adrian, Kenai and issued its founding statement at Port Prosperity, the party is currently headquartered at the Johanneshov Building in St. Anselm and the Concord Building in Port Prosperity, both in Kenai.
