We value the environment, we believe it is our responsibility to take the steps today, to ensure that future generations are not forced to make up for our mistakes. A healthy environment is beneficial to all the citizens of Solentia. We value military neutrality. It is our belief that Solentia should not enter into alliances that bind it militarily. We believe Solentia should maintain strong armed forces for the purpose of protection. We value human, civil, and women's rights, in Solentia and all of Terra. We are willing to work with any party to ensure that these rights are maintained. We value science and technology. In an ever advancing world it is important for us to maintain highly efficient departments in these fields. We value freedom of religion, though we are a secular party. Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe |
