The Progressive Conservatives P was refounded on 4 November 3535 in Idunn, Hent more than 132 years since its original founding. It is a socially conservative and moderately economic liberal party. and views its role in society as promoting harmony, solidarity and avoiding class warfare wherever possible. Political position : Centre right POLICY - Support of a regulated market economy - Lower flatter taxes - Tough on crime, tough on the criminals - Unitary state with limited devolution - Moderate traditionalist social policies - Pro-Dovani foreign policy - Mixed public-private healthcare systems - Strong professional military - Generous subsidies for farmers - Support for nuclear power. - Regulation of media to prevent obscenity and slander - Ethical stem cell research, no use of embryos in scientific research - Balanced conservation, economic competitiveness and environmental protection - Limited immigration for professionals we need only. - Fair yet stricter policies on refugees and illegal immigrants - Allowing greater freedom to religious and charter schools - Recognition of Hosianism's special place in Kazulian society LEADERSHIP Leader - Jens Norvik Deputy Leader - Dr. Karin Stang Parliamentary Leader: Kjell Harlem FACTIONS PK is a big tent party uniting diverse conservative movements. Factions include the dominant liberal conservatives, classical liberals and social conservatives. ORGANISATION PK is organised into a national party and five provincial parties which operate in each fylke. The party is led by a Chairman who is elected at a party conference and re-elected each year. The electoral college is made up of party delegates, each candidate requiring nomination by one tenth of the parliamentary party. |
