Union Party

"Pax In Focus, Pax In Terra"
_____

The Union Party was founded on June 14, 3681 by Alfred Johnson, Jeromy Phillips, and Calvin Gillespie. The Party achieved consecutive electoral successes, but then fell into inactivity. The Union Party was re-founded on December 14, 3784 at the first every party conference in Llanymôr, Aloria by Edith Newbury and John Cromwell as a conservative alternative to left-wing parties. The Union Conference convenes every year on December 14. The student group is the Student Unionists, and the youth group is the Young Unionists.
_____

The Union Party has been the champion of fiscal discipline, free markets, and a limited and transparent government that nurtures an environment of growth and opportunity for all Alorians. Unionists believe that self-reliance, innovation, entrepreneurship, and traditional values benefit society, and that it should be the duty of government to promote these values, not to inhibit them. Unionists also believe that national security, a strong military, and a robust foreign policy are necessary to protect the citizenry and the interests of the nation at home and abroad.
