| The Monotheist Brotherhood is a cross-denominational, multi-faith alliance of religious sects and communities opposed to the excesses of modern Secular-Statism, be it Socialism, Liberalism or Fascism. It is more than a political movement, involved in charity, education and labour union organisation. It is represented in the political arena by the Ecumenical Constitutional Democrat Party. It upholds the principles of Ecumenism, Anti-Modernism, Monotheism, Multiculturalism and apostolic poverty. In the purely political realm - the Monotheists are right-wing and libertarian in opposition to the Socialist consensus in Lodamun maintained a endless system of farcical coalition governments. The most cogent statement of the Monothesist Belief up to this date was the Sermon on the Steps, given by Supreme Guide Gregory Cromwell after the brief restoration of Hosianism as the state religion. "My friends, a few months ago - the Vice-President told me he was not afraid. That he laughed at us, and demanded we commit mass suicide as if he were God himself. Today, that coward is now in hiding, but what is he afraid of? It is you, my friends, the people of this nation - whom he fears. It is because of you - your love of freedom, your defiance of the state, your devout faith in God - that he hides from the light of the day. You, the righteous! Before he departed, he dared to warn the International Community and begged them in the whining tongue of the Devil himself to "understand Lodamunese Nationalism" How dare he, when the Nationalists defied the International Communities pleas for mercy for GENERATIONS! How dare that snake, son of snakes, assume in play acting like a malicious child the role of a victim so. (Cheers) We may not have seen the last of that power mad socialist dynast, born and raised to consider himself above us all. Raised in a culture of Nationalist impunity and liberty to abuse. His father was an abuser, one who revelled and gloried in discrimination against the righteous, whose philosophy was empty nihilism and whose methods were mob rule and tyranny - and he was the same foul stuff. He and his caste of pseudo-aristocrats believed they are born to rule Lodamun, that their beliefs and follies define our national identity, and that there legalisation has made the faith of our ancestors into a "foreign influence". They used the state as a weapon of oppression to solidify the tyranny of the apparatchiks, and demanded we worship the very mechanism of our own oppression. They tired not only to control our wealth and bodies with the strangling dead arm of police, army and bureaucracy, but sought to rewrite the very human soul. They tired to take our God, and make us worship Prisons. They tired to take the Virgin Mother, and make us prayer to Radio Propaganda. They tired to take our Holy Spirit, and make us worship the army. They tired to take our Saints, and make us worship Presidents. They tired to take our Church, and make us worship this Presidium behind me here. They did this all reasonably, by the mechanism of democratic procedure. Who are you to question this, they said, it was agreed on democratically. I have here in my hand, ready to be signed by the President - a decision that reverses those centuries of secular and totalitarian legalisation. By the logic of the Nationalists, this is a divine document. Democracy is apotheosis, translating bland political doctrine into sublime and eternal truth. But this is not a divine document - however agreeable it is to us. It's just a bill. A good bill, a POPULAR and JUST bill, but just a bill. Passed and written by politicians, not by God. We are not here today to assert that we have legislated God back into existence. We are not here to celebrate that we have changed the nature of truth or justice in Lodamun, that by passing a BILL in the PRESIDIUM we have made Hosianism truth. We have not changed anything expect the law, we have changed only the law. The Presidium have no right to change anything expect the LAW! We in the Monotheist Brotherhood are not a political party - and because of this we are both less than and more than a secular political organisation. We do not believe we have the power or the right to alter values. We do not believe we have the right or the power to redefine the truth. We do not even believe we have the right or the power to create or write a new Constitution. The values we serve are the values of scripture, the truth we preach is the the truth of the scripture, the Constitution we serve is the primeval Constitution described in the scripture! That is what is means to be Believers, that is what is means to be the Righteous of God! Lodamunese Nationalism was NEVER our religion! (Cheers) Hosianism was always the religion of this nation, it is the religion of all nations to whom he has offered the revelation! God was always God - no bill changed that, no bill will ever change that! Let the Nationalists hide - but let them know this, we will not strike the first blow. We are vigilant, but we will not avenge. The scripture that is our Brotherhood's motto has always meant God will avenge, not us, but God. That is the meaning of the whole scripture, we took it on as both truth and irony. We knew it would strike the fear of God even into the hearts of those who did not let themsleves believe. "Vengeance is mine saith the lord I will repay!" Let the Nationalists FLEE (cheers) it is their own actions that doom them, we FORGIVE them EVERYDAY, but ours is not to forgive. They damned themselves, and damn themselves still. But let us say a word about the others faiths, our comrades in arms in the Brotherhood! (Cheers) We are Hosian, but we do not hold the revelations show to others against them. There are other revelations, other roads to the one God - other trumpets announcing the coming of the saviour. Those of the Yeudi and Ahmadis faith, considered secondary targets by the Nationalist Enslavers, helped shelter us. They did this not because they were innately good people, but because they knew how to be Good people. They knew the Ten Commandments, they knew the laws Ariel revealed to the tribes of Eretz Beiteinu. Some of us pretended to be Ahmadi, or Yeudi, or even of a Aldegarian faith. We learnt in this manner of the wisdom of the other revelations, and learnt to accept and combine with them. We have no desire to oppress other faiths. As to those of no faith - we fear for them, but will not compel. We open ourselves to the full and free contest of ideas, we do not speak like the Nationalists do with increasing panic of "control." Our religion is not one of control, but one of the truth. We do not seek to create or control, only to reveal. My friends, this our our peaceful revolution! A Hosian Revolution, conceived in humility and obedience to a higher power. A Revolution not create the world anew, but to restore the past, the traditions of our people! We are Hosians again! Praise the Lord!" |
