| 4368-Present Royal People's Party Irkawan: Ǹouro Shlol Rehanro Mallan: የሮያል ፓልስ ፓርቲ (Yeroyali Palisi Paritī) Augustan: Reĝa Populara Partio A nationalist coalition in favor of the establishment of a combined monarchist-republican system in Cobura, with three monarchs to represent the Irkawans, Mallans, and Augustans. These monarchs would serve under the Head of State to represent the traditions and defend the interests of their respective groups. The Party's political views can be described as nationalist, monarchist, and generally socially liberal with a left-wing viewpoint on economic issues, in line with previous Coburan monarchist parties. ______________________ 4255-4293 Democratic People's Front Irkawan: Speira Dēmokratiko Enshlol Mallan: Yedēmokirasīyawī Hizibi Fīti Augustan: Demokrata Populara Fronto The Democratic People's Front is a Coburan radical nationalist and populist party. The Front's ideological principles are vague but the party can be described as hostile to Zardic influence and generally supportive of the monarchy. Its base of support comes primarily from Domale and Irkawa. _________________________________________________________ 4117-4220 Royalist Front (Speira Nouro) The party was largely funded by the Manshopi cadet branch of the House of Saksoure, Cobura's ruling dynasty at the time. The party largely continued the policies of the Royal Coalition, its predecessor. ___________________________________________________________ 4057-4075 Koinonia ǹej Toujo Ǹshlōl (Council for National Salvation) The Council for National Salvation was a military junta formed during the Tokundian Crisis to respond to instability plaguing the nation. The junta is generally considered to have orchestrated a false flag operation to assassinate the Lord of Cobura for his perceived weakness toward the Tokundian separatists. The conspirators were later tried and found guilty. Under the KTN a brutal program of ethnic cleansing and genocide was orchestrated against the Tokundian people, forcing most into nearby Zardugal and Deltaria. ___________________________________________________________ 3855-4057 Koinonia nej Ouro (Royal Coalition) The Royal Coalition represents the Saksoure Dynasty and its political ideology, which combines monarchism with striving for a more fair and equal society under the principles of the Arkhe religion. The Saksoure Dynasty was established in Cobura in 3857 upon seeing the failure of republican governments to ensure equal political status to all Coburan peoples, despite their best intentions. It was decided that only a strong leader devoted to these ideals could ensure the welfare of Coburan society. The Koinonia Enouro was ousted from power by the military following the assassination of Lord Anwar Pteroumes during the Tokundian Crisis. |
