Description[?]:
Slogan Look Left, Look Right, Go Ahead Allied for the Common Good History Founded in 3898, The Progressives strive to achieve social justice, liberty and democracy by making the government work truly for the people. The founder, George Emerson then became president and our first and only majority leader. In 3986, Rick Perot revitalized the Progressives and created a new left. Under the leadership of Ed Stewart, the party is renamed as Reform! Rutania. The party is then renamed as the Alliance in 4037. The Alliance's Members The Alliance does not practice the R!R's referendum system to prevent low turnouts. In place, a parties system is established to recognize different members' political opinions. The 50-member Alliance Congress is the highest body of representation and decision-making of the party, elected through a Proportional Representation system. Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
