Description[?]:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Alorian Cynghrair Liberty · Alorian Freiheit Allianz · Alorian Liberty Alliance ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Alorian Liberty Alliance was founded in 3919 as the Social-Liberal party and defines its goal bringing freedom and prosperity for everyone in our society. This means helping genuinely disadvantaged and stopping state-imposed freedom restrictions. The Social-Liberal party was reformed in 3827 by decision of its central commitee. It is now open for all both economic left and right, with the common goal of bringing liberty to people of Aloria. The SLP was renamed to Alorian Liberty Alliance. We are for unconditioned minimum income and unconditioned children benefits. We are against growing state bureacracy and for smaller efficient government which works on simple principles. We support unconditioned universal health care and education, but private efforts in these areas are appreciated and private facilities are allowed because we are against any state-imposed prohibitions. === MAIN POSITIONS === Individual Freedom Economic Freedom Unconditional basic income Public Health Care & Education Protection of the Enviroment Globalization, Internationalism, Free Trade --- FACTIONS --- Geolibertarian 55% Right-libertarian 35% Other/Unaffiliated 10% === IDEOLOGY === Our main position is to maximize liberty of an individual. Violations of freedom can be imposed by the government or by individual ownership and private corporations. Private ownership of natural resources and land is essencially prohibition of using these common resources by other people, therefore violating their freedom. This means it should be compensated by the government. The government should not prohibit private enterprise because prohibition is violation of freedom, but if a large and effective government sector makes private companies uncompetitive, then this is not freedom violation, as there is no compulsion. The usage of commons also should be regulated by the government to avoid depletion. We think that the government should protect enviroment because this is a common good. We are anti-copyright because this is essencially creation of artificial monopolies through prohibition and freedom violation, and therefore is unjust and uneffective. The government is necessary to protect people from crime. Crime is basically actions with net positive private coersion. Organized crime structures resemble archaic anti-people governments, and a stronger democratic government is necessary to maximize liberty. We don't have set positions on ecomomic policies and allow a wide range of views within our party. Our party position is that economic system should maximize individual freedom and be effective. Our combined economic position is centrist. We recognize the right of people to organize economic markets and enter any voluntary contracts with their property and labor. === LEADERSHIP === Chair: Aeron Jones Vice-chair: Anna Meylor Legistative Lead: Frieda Kretschmer === LEADERSHIP HISTORY === Jessica Welser 3918-3943 Aeron Jones 3943-3949 Jac Harries 3949-[in office] |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
