Description[?]:
Composed of the scattered remnants of the Vanukaen Left, the KKP gained official recognition in the waning years of the 40th century as the stability of the Kingdom was shaken by crisis after crisis. It is not a true unified front, but rather a ramshackle coalition of Vanuku's left leaning ideologies. The largest faction, the Revolutionary Bloc, takes up about half the total members of the KKP and consists mainly of communists, socialists, and radical anti-monarchists. By far the most extreme faction in the party, most members favor restrictions of executive power and privilege and some, in private at least, advocate absolution of the monarchy entirely. The Bloc is headed by Eksandr van Revenswaaij and his brother Féodr. The second faction is the Liberals, made up primarily of democrats, progressives, liberals, and left-leaning centrists who have left the KP. They are similar in many respects to the KP itself and are the moderating influence on the KPP. At the most extreme, some members would consider a constitutional monarchy while some of the more centrist are as monarchist as the Kroon Partij. The Liberals are headed by former KP veteran Petr Mardoh and liberal Hynrk Adlésrmko Gbar. The rest of the KKP counts anarchists, radicals, syndicalists, and other revolutionary elements in its numbers. Though the Party is fractious, the large influence of the Revolutionary Bloc and the powerful personality of Eksandr van Revenwaaij means that the KKP is able to speak as a mostly unified voice when needed. |
