Description[?]:
Founded in July 4178, the Republican Party was a small faction of conservatively-minded members from the Southern portion of the Beluzian nation that has expanded into the largest party in Beluzia. Highly adaptable, the party is receptive to smaller movements towards a more right-leaning government. Their current candidate for president is the moderate and easygoing Kenneth Rhodes, who tends to buckle easily under pressure despite protests from his fellow more conservatively-minded party members, who are frankly quite sick of his wishy-washiness. "I love politics, my wife, my children, and golf." - Kenneth Rhodes "Kenneth Rhodes needs to get himself together. He is my friend but also an embarrassment to my personal values." - Garrett Hargreaves The party is proud to have pledged its allegiance to the Right-Wing Brotherhood and the United Front. Kenneth Rhodes and Malcolm Blake currently serve as the Beluzian Ministers of Internal Affairs & Infrastructure and Transport respectively. Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
