Description[?]:
PLP or Progressive Liberal Party was founded in March 4245 by Justan Trudo. Our main task is to help the weakest in Solentia. We want to realise that by giving our economy some social corrections. As we are a leftist party we strive to equality and freedom for all Solentians. Our views on the economy: First of all we need to simplify our taxation system. This in a form where the low income families are protected, but also in a way the wealthiest keep investing in our country and don't float away from Solentia. Therefore we propose the following: *The lowest incomes will be protected as the taxfree zone is pulled up to 15000SOL. Further all incomes in between 15000SOL and 45000 SOL only pay 15% income tax. The middle class will be protected, this to ensure purchasing power. Earnings in between 45000 SOL and 60000 SOL will be taxed by 25%. The last and highest tax bracket taxes everyone earning more then 60000 SOL by 36%. This gives the government a revenue of 4.7Billion SOL. *Lowering our corporate tax from 12% to 10% will create jobs. Companies who don't create a certain amount of jobs with the taxcut will be fined. *The government will introduce a salary cap scale 20-1 for itself. For private companies the rule off unions negotiating with companies stays unchanged. *We must increase the minimum wage above the poverty line. ----------------------------- Our views on Education: School should be accessible to all Solentians as it already is privatized there still are area's where the government has work to do. Therefore we propose the following: *We will add another 15B to the education budget this to build more schools, to recruit more teachers and to give those teachers extra courses to do their job *A class will be attended by not more then 15 students, so a teacher can give his time to every student *We want to introduce a new way of giving education by giving children at the age of 14 the option to choose a lot of courses. There will be mandatory courses as mathematics, English, History, Biology etc. But they should be deciding their selves if they for example want to add more languages to their courses or for example want a course "theateral drama". *Further we also want to introduce a new course that will learn children how to manage their money, how to fill in taxpapers, Wich taxes there are, what they need to know when they buy a house, etc *We will introduce charter schools nationwide for children with a learning disability/disorder. This to give them the right sort of education they need. *The government will still pay higher education tuition for low income families earning less then 18000SOL a year. For everyone above 18000SOL the government pays 75% of the tuition. ------------------------------- Our views on health care: PLP is a big defender of free healthcare for anyone. As healthcare is a crucial human right we will do anything to provide free health for everyone in Solentia. Therefore we propose the following: *Health care should be privatized partly with 51% of the shares in public hands. The reason of privatization is lowering the costs. The majority of the shares stay in public hands so hospitals don't get greedy. *Therfore a hospital can not make a profit bigger then 5%. This to maintain a human face. As we know this profit margin is very low this will still be cheaper then the government owning everything. *The government should help everyone who needs medication. That's why we propose that everyone earning less then 18000SOL a year should get his/her medication payed back by a 100%. People earning more then 18000 SOL and less then 35000 SOL should get it payed back by 75%. Everyone earning more then 35000 SOLgets it payed back by 50% |
