Chairwoman: Cynthia Salvatore 4329-4331- (Lost election due to reformists faction gaining majority on EC Vote was 13-7 against) Celeste Moon 4331-Current (Elected by EC by 18-2) Vice Chair: Victor Devereux 4329-4331 (Appointed by Salvatore) Anabelle Knight 4331-Current (Appointed by Moon) Finance Director: Joanna Devereux 4330-4331 Jeffery Gibson 4331-Current National Field Director: Carol Fielding 4331 Congressional Legislative Liaison: Sean Bellows 4331- The New Baltusia Movement was founded by the party’s executive committee, which is made up of twenty-one elected delegates representing each city of each region of the nation. The other position is filled by the Chairman of the party who is elected to a four-year term by the Executive Committee. The Vice-Chair is appointed by the Chairman and helps control day to day operations of the party including staffing, but does not hold a seat on the committee. The current party platform was approved in 4330 by the committee by unanimous approval and is to be reviewed after the next internal elections. https://8values.github.io/results.html?e=57.3&d=48.9&g=55.0&s=73.4 -The party supports traditional free market approach, with regulation of the economy in certain areas. -The party believes in local or small government ideology instead of a big government, however, we do not take an all-out private sector approach as others do. -The party supports an aggressive and powerful military and agenda, along with a well-funded budget. -The party supports the death penalty, and tough on crime approach along with providing an adequate justice budget to fund special specific task forces and better-equipped police forces. - We support a balanced budget amendment and require all budgets to ensure a healthy surplus, we support lower taxes but will not support drastic cuts or deficit spending to fund tax cuts. -We reject most regulation regarding science and technology believing the government is best suited to be a helpful partner and provide minimal oversight -We do not believe in a religious state nor do we support a totally secular state instead we put forth a moderate secular agenda. -We are strong supporters of civil rights and believe the government should not intervene in any way at times -We support a strong and healthy environment along with a healthy economy. The nation’s natural resources and wonders should always be protected to ensure generations to come have them and provide healthy tourism sector. |
