Description[?]:
The Nationalist Alliance of Liberals is a party with a ideology of National Liberalism. This means the party advocates for individual freedoms but is also nationalistic regarding issues about the sovereignty or national identity of Luthori. The party is formally led by both the "Council of Liberals" and the "Council of Nationalists" These councils have equall power and decide upon a party leader called the Chairman. The councils also seperately decide upon moral issues. The decisions of both councils are presented at a monthly meeting in which they will either be enacted as official policy or be rejected by both councils. Because of the constant necessity's for the councils to cooperate, negotiate and compromise the NAL has a strong tradition of cooperation in the party and can cooperate or negotiate with almost any ideology. The NAL believes that the monarchy has done a lot of Luthori and should be respected but that the continuation of the monarchy is no option. The NAL thinks that the monarchy has been the reason for Luthori decline in recent years and wants to establish a Presidential Republic in which the president will be elected directly by the people and have significant authority in order to change the nation with a strong mandate. The NAL was created following the persistent decline of Luthori and the need in Nationalists and Liberal eyes for change. They believed that by working together like this they would have a bigger chance in elections. Slogan: "United and Free" Founded 4366 |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
