/English Name/: Coalition of the Radical Left /Greek Name/: Synaspismós Rizospastikís Aristerás /Shortened Name/: Syriza /Founded/: September 4511 /President/: Elena Kountoura (born 4472) - https://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Elena_Kountoura /Leader/: Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha (born 4475) - https://particracy.wikia.com/wiki/Maria_Kollia-Tsaroucha /Deputy Leader/: Nikos Kotzias (born 4462) ............................................................................................ The Coalition of the Radical Left was founded in 4511 by union member Elena Kountoura and human rights activist Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha. The Coalition of the Radical Left wants to work towards a country that works for the many, not the few. ............................................................................................. The policy of the Coalition of the Radical Left is based primarily on the principles of economic nationalism, progressivism, left-wing populism, and above all socialism. We oppose monarchy and all rightist ideologies and influences that undermine equality. The only way to achieve the victory of our nation is to fight. Whilst we support all workers, our party is also aligned to the Ahmadi (Muslim) religion and specifically aligned to the Israi (Sunni) tradition. The party however believes in secularism and we work towards separating the state and religion where possible. ............................................................................................ Founders Elena Kountoura & Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha Born 4472 in the capital city of Eleopolis (Seshold), Kountoura was born to a father who was a mineworker and a mother who was a primary school teacher. She went to nursing college and became a nurse whilst being active in the National Nursing Union. Involved in student politics, she previously was a member of Fákelos Techonkratikís Dimokratías. Born 4475 in a small rural village in al-Najd, human rights activist Maria Kollia-Tsaroucha was born into a single parent family with her mother being a barmaid to pay the bills. Nonetheless, she went to study law (specialising in human rights) and became a human rights lawyer. Kollia-Tsaroucha had always been apolitical, but she joined forces with Kountoura and formed the Coalition of the Radical Left which swept to power in their first election making Kountoura the President and Kollia-Tsaroucha the Prime Minister. As a team, the founders created and passed the bills which strengthened the trade unions in the country, eradicated child labour, introduced the minimum wage, abolished the death penalty, established a full National Health Service, established free education and extended LGBTQ+ rights amongst many other bills which changed the fate of the country. ............................................................................................ Presidents of Kalopia: Elena Kountoura (4511-4516, 4520-4528) ............................................................................................ Voting Record
This is the voting[?] record of the Synaspismós Rizospastikís Aristerás.
Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
